Mission Statement:
The Biomagnetic Therapy Association BTA since 1995 has been committed to quality
education, scientific research & professional support. We develop new information
about the use of magnetic fields & share this research. Our vision is that
through consistent terminology & accurate documentation we will scientifically
prove the benefits & limitations of biomagnetic therapy. We set standards
of ethics for all biomagnetic specialists. Our Institutional Review Board
follows FDA guidelines.
Activities of the BTA:
A news letter is published quarterly to keep members informed of current research
& protocol advancements. It connects people to new ideas. Also, a National
Registry is maintained with certified specialists.
The Biomagnetic Institute is a division of BTA that provides certification for
biomagnetic specialists. The Certified Biomagnetic Practitioner program is open
to any member of the BTA. The Certified Biomagnetic Therapist program is open
to members who have allied health training. Specifically, anatomy, physiology
& pathology training.
Certified Biomagnetic Therapists can qualify for the Researcher program &
then the Instructor program.
The Biomagnetic Research Clinic is a division of BTA that conducts ongoing research
in basic & applied science.
